More Gelli Plate Madness!
I get so many questions about what to do with a Gelli Plate print once you create it. The answer is it is up to your imagination! I have created cards, art journal pages, artist trading cards, used them on canvas just to name a few examples. I decided to make a video showing what I created with a print I made from a previous video. I hope you enjoy it!

Tim Holtz at the Novi, Michigan Mega Meet! Distress Paint Demo Part 1
Hello, all! I am excited to bring you footage from the Mega Meet scrapbook convention that was held Mother's Day weekend in Novi, Michigan. We were lucky enough to have the one and only Tim Holtz demonstrating his wonderful line of products through Ranger Ink, Sizzix, Stamper's Anonymous, and others. I could have sat and watched him for hours (I stayed 2 1/2 hours)! He is talented, knowledgeable, as well as gracious. Here's the first of two clips showing off my newest and I think most favorite of all products-Distress Paint! Enjoy!

Masculine Birthday Card Featuring Ranger Products
This is a birthday card I made for a guy who owns a wine bar, at one time had a unique mustache, and loves music. The funny thing is that he never received it!! That's another story. Anyway I wanted to incorporate his personality into the card as I continue to explore my masculine side. The focal stamp is by Tim Holtz, the drink stamp is by Inkadinkado, and the sentiment is by Hero Arts. The papers are various substrates from Ranger with the unique one being Kraft Glassine paper, a translucent coated paper that is kind of difficult to explain-you would have to experience it to get a feel for it. The latest product I used is the Distress paint that I stamped the mustache with. Its unique formulation allows for manipulation with water while it's wet which is great for blending but is waterproof after it dries! I LOVE this acrylic paint! It stamped with such detail-it wasn't globby as it's texture is thin-perfect for stamping. It is a sure winner. By the way, here is a link to the inspiration-owner of Motor City Wine which by the way has great live music, especially on Wednesdays! http://motorcitywine.com/about.php

Mixed Media Gift Tag
This is a gift tag I made for my niece's graduation from art college. She majored in photography. I wanted to make it personal so I included charms that represented travel and of course, the camera. There is an envelope attached to the back to hold money, a check or small gift card. Products used are various Ranger inks, Crafter's Workshop stencils, Sharpie paint pen, clear stamps by I cannot remember, fiber and charm embellishments, and the Gelli printing plate which is awesome!
