Artist Trading Cards

Here is the video slideshow of my latest atcs. They came as a random burst of creativity-I completely let go and just went with whatever happened. I used various inking techniques and products mostly from Ranger Ink. I hope you like them.

ATC

Here is an ATC I made using mica gloss paint. I randomly applied various colors to my card base with a sponge. I stamped the image using black archival ink by Ranger. It was then embossed with clear embossing powder. I gently bent the card to produce the cracked effect. Dew Drops were added to embellish. I need to make ATCs more often. The problem is that I work intuitively-most of my time is spent thinking! But once I get an idea, I work fairly quickly.

More ATCs!

I am on an ATC kick and loving it! It's so nice to practice new techniques on a small platform. On this card I used metal tape and alcohol inks. Stamp by Penny Black.

First ATC

It's time that I started working in miniature to try new things so I figured I would try my first ATC which stands for artist trading card. A little background-ATCs are traded between artists. They are 2 1/2 by 3 1/2 cards using any material that really comes to the artist's mind. They are labeled on the back with the artist's information. The important thing is that they are never sold-just created for the sake of art and appreciated by another artist. Since this is my first one, I will keep it. Materials used are Antiquities Embossing Powder, Acrylic Paint Dabbers, and Perfect Pearls by Ranger Industries. Stamps by Inkadinkado. Gems are by an unknown manufacturer.
